“Het Bolwerk”, the stronghold
Our house is just a stone's throw away from one of the longest parks in the Netherlands: “Het Bolwerk”.
In the sixteenth century, the bolwerk was built as a belt of fortifications around the old town.
In its entirety, it now forms a four-kilometre-long park and beautiful walking route.

Our Living Room
Cosy and homely, with a large dining table, children's toys, board games, a TV and a full bookcase (unfortunately mainly in Dutch :(.
The Bedrooms
On the first floor you will find a large and a small bedroom. The large bedroom is divided with a half open wall.
There is a large double bed and, in the small part, a single bed; perfect for a child that does not like to sleep far from the parents.
The small bedroom has a single bed. Because this room faces south, the windows have shutters. These can be closed, especially in summer, to keep out the light and heat.
The Bathroom
The bathroom is spacious, with a bath and a separate shower.
Our kitchen
Basic, functional and complete. Our kitchen has a fine oven, a new refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine.
And of course cooking and eating utensils. Basic cooking and breakfast ingredients are included.
On the first morning we also provide breakfast.
Around our house
Unfortunately, our house does not have a garden, but we do have a cosy "courtyard" where you can sit comfortably with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
The street and the neighbourhood are very quiet but still close to the beautiful town centre. .
